July 8 is Just an Udder Day at Chick-Fil-A Cow Appreciation Celebration

Chick-fil-a Cow Appreciation DayHaving grown up in a small town where the cows outnumbered the humans I can appreciate a good-looking cow as much as the next guy. I can also appreciate a great chicken sandwich. If you’re familiar with the Georgia-based fast food restaurant chain Chick-Fil-A, you know that their most ardent spokes-hmmm people are the cows that advise its customers to “EAT MOR CHIKIN”

July 8th has been declared it Cow Appreciation Day in honour of these lovable spotted mascots and pasture-dwelling bovines everywhere. Simply show up at any Chick-Fil-A restaurant wearing a head-to-hoof cow costume and you’ll get a free meal.

What was that? You don’t have a cow costume on hand? Chick-Fil-A has that covered and have provided a printable PDF for slackers just like you. Print out the cow parts, then search down a pair of safety scissors (no running!), then carefully cut out the cow ears, nose, spots and tail. Once you’ve put your dignity out to pasture head on into your local Chick-fil-A and you’ll at least earn yourself a free entree (and more than a few stares).

If you’re curious what you might look like in a cow costume download the Chick-Fil-A iPhone app, import a photo of your face and then share it with your friends on Twitter and Facebook.
